Getting Away From Them

Lux Octavia Brock was kidnapped by a family known for moving around and different personalities. She doesn't know why she was taken or why she's the only one who's lived this long with them. She's seen things, things that you just don't forget about and because of that she should be dead. But she's the only reason why They are alive. And that will change when she get's away from 'Them.'

I was woken up by a very loud scream. One that was angry, I jumped up and out of bed and out of my room and I wasn't the only one to wake up. So we all walked down stairs too see what was wrong. My father a seething; it didn't take a genius to know why. Lux also known as Octavia as my dad likes to call her has finally got away like we planed. But my mother being her stupid self asked, "What's the matter?" I wanted to hit her up side the head like I would with Taylor after he did something stupid. But since she was the mother I couldn't and wouldn't hit a woman.

My father glared at her, like she was just to know what was wrong. "She's gone." He punched a hole in the wall of her 'room' I bet he'd wish that was her, so he could abuse her some more. I resisted the urge to shudder. "I tried going after her but she was 15 minutes ahead of me." He shook his head. He probably had a 'feeling' but it was usually wrong and the next morning he'd find her asleep. Then he'd just drag her out of bed and smack her around. Because he was an ass like that.

"Should we go look for her?" Zen asked. My father chuckled, because he's crazy like that...

Now the question is, will she live? Will she die? Will she fall in love? Will she end up free? Will she have a normal life? Now we just don't know till the end.

"I'll get you out of here," He promised, I bit my lip.

"Then what?" I ask looking into his eyes.

"I'll find you and keep you safe when it's safe." He whispers then kisses my forehead.
