An Invitation for the Unwelcome: A Novella

Elena Mara and Heather Mara live together in their parent's manor after their parents' death. Though they grieve over them rarely, there are always instances where they feeled trapped and without love. However after a gathering by the large town of Kleinrock being postponed, Elena begins to feel odd and disturbed. A secret she herself discovered 17 years ago, comes back with intense revelations. As a 25 year-old grown woman, she seeks to find a resolution to the strange feelings. Quarrels break out between individual families who impose death threats upon each other. No one is allowed to leave, however there are few who have managed to escape. She, along with her sister must come to a resolution, which may reveal serious revelations. Kleinrock's residents enter into a warzone. Elena could easily flee the town, for she is very stealthy, but her sister, Heather refuses. If Elena flees, she risks losing her only living family member. Whether to stay or not, is the only true question.
