"Princess Jazmine, but he is a criminal! H-He could harm you!" Cairo held the dirty peasant boy by his arm. The boy only scowled at him, rolling his brown eyes in annoyance before locking his eyes on Jazmine again. Rumours were true; she really was the fairest lady of all.
The princess looked at him with pity in her eyes. Cairo was her most trusted guard, she always listened to him, but there was something about this boy. Something that clouded her judgement.
"If he wanted to harm me, he would've already, Sir Cairo." She smiled, and for once her smile reached her eyes.
