Alone

"I'm sorry," he said in a fast rush. I was paralyzed, trapped in a shell. I heard the veins in my neck pop, and an ugly slurping sound. Blood. My blood greedily taken away. I began to feel lightheaded, then cold, I heard my heart beat slow to nothing.
