I've lived my whole life with a bracelet on my wrist. No matter how hard I try it wont come off. that is until one day after hanging out with my best friend Julie. I don't get along with any of my foster families, and don't pay attention in school. how bad can it be? right?

But there was something about Charlotte. She wasn't like the most prettiest girl in the world, but anyone with heart could tell that she had a beautiful heart. A heart that could easily be broken. Astren City, and all surrounding area, have the highest crime rate in the northern part of the country. Dozens of crime families constantly trying to take the throne, as well as corruption lurking around every corner, do not aid in that fact at all. Salem Heart's father, Jack Heart, happens to be the Astren City Chief of Police, a title which holds a lot of weight and a rank that claims even more power. He's well respected, and amazing at his job. That said, greatness is expected of Salem as well. Of course that isn't a problem, Salem will always be loyal to the law. He was raised by it, and upholding it is his future career aspiration. He thinks he has his life figured out. The fact that his ex-boyfriend comes from a notorious crime family, and has been arrested several times by Jack's own department, doesn't matter. Salem's passed that, he's over Atlas Marino and he always will be. He will ignore that scratch in his record, and cover it up with his success. Salem is offered a job to help with an investigation that could benefit his future career astronomically. He thinks it's a win-win situation, he gets the recognition he desires, and the streets will be that much safer. It's all black and white to him, easy to understand. He likes the order, and he craves the accomplishment of defeating bad with good. It's all black and white. Until he gets caught in the grey. Primrose was raised to be a perfect little girl her whole life, at a young age she was raised to perfection, kitten heels, dresses and manners of a lady. She met a boy named Xavier in preschool, a skinny little boy with glasses, she grew fond of the funny little boy and they became good friends despite his family being short of money. When Primrose was 8 and Xavier was 9 years old Xavier's Fathers business hit the jackpot and went sky high making them one of the richest families in the country. He moved away leaving primrose in her perfectly controlled life. Years passed, Xavier changed in every way possible, he got contact lenses and his hair grew darker with age and he was toned and covered in tattoos. He was unrecognisable. Primrose however hadn't changed one bit, she had light blonde hair with soft curls and bright green eyes. She still wore perfect prim dresses and kitten heels and held herself like a lady and was kind to everyone even the worst of people. When Xavier returned to his home town at 19 he recognised primrose who is now 18. However she didn't recognise him. (TW: I have made this story mature for very small reasons such as how her father treats her and her mother and it may be upsetting to some so please be mindful of this when reading the story. There is also bullying and controlling behaviour mentioned. Otherwise it's pretty PG within the book)

Justin Wilde. Your typical bad boy. Hot, Has a motorcycle, Player, A jock, in a gang, but lets not forget what EVERY Wattpad bad boy book character has- arrogance.
