This book is about an 18 year old girl who lives with her 15 year old sister Kenya and her 35 year old mom. Cynthia is not like most 18 year olds, her mom makes her have curfews and mistreats her. But Cynthia has a best friend name Chris who literally protects her when she needs it. Also Chris has a crush on Cynthia and she knows it just playing hard to get.Will she ever get out the house that her mother mistreats her? Read to find out.

The Thomas's are a very well-off family with four boys. Their house is usually the main hangout for the boys and their friends.
