[ENDGAME SPOILERS FOR A LINK BETWEEN WORLDS]
She was born into the end of the world.
Lorule was torn to shreds when its Triforce was destroyed. Princess Hilda, born into the position of ruling such a sorrowful kingdom, must try to lead her people out of despair with herself having no hope of salvation. She must carry the burden of her ancestors' mistake.
For her entire life, she has been forced to watch her people suffer. So when the potential opportunity to restore Lorule comes knocking on her door, Hilda must take it. Even at the expense of another world.
I do not own The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds or the characters featured in the game.
Original cover art by Pekobukis removed because they deactivated their account so I can't link back to the artwork. It is now Hilda's official art.

Second, Ghirahim, Ganondorf's second in command, is still out there, plotting and devising a plan to destroy all of Hyrule. The Yiga are still active, attacking unsuspecting travelers. Finally, the hope of defending against Ghirahim's potential attacks is significantly dwindled when the three weilding the Triforce must leave the sanctuary of Hyrule Castle to uncover deep secrets. Zelda Fraysse, is a 21 years old businesswoman who is very highly respected in her small hometown, but in the bigger cities, nobody recognizes her name, she's just one in many. She encounters a classy man one day, who goes by the name of Link. After they get to know each other a bit more, turns out they have been both having the same exact kind of dreams, about the world that will face its end soon. Soon enough, the two become very close and not a day goes by when they are not spending time together. But one day all of that changes, when Link gets a mysterious letter, and without saying a word, disappears. How A Princess Fights.
When Zelda is forced to marry a tyrant that would bring her country to ruin, she lashes out at her new husband. The new King plots against her so he can have the kingdom and the Triforce for himself but Zelda has many friends in Hyrule. She must leave Hyrule Castle, her home, with no one but a knight at her side. She leaves with a promise, a promise to return some day, an army at her side and retake her kingdom, liberating her subjects from the King's tyranny. This is a Zelink story but I doubt it will be as good as my first Zelink story, 'A Princess Problem' but let's give it a try. It has been 100 years since the Great Calamity befell the land of Hyrule, leaving the once prosperous kingdom in ruin. After a century of slumber, Link wakes up alone with no memory of who he is. The voice of the long lost Princess Zelda calls to him, telling him to save her kingdom. With nothing but his courage and his name, he takes on the responsibility to put it back on track. But as his memories begin to creep to the surface, he soon finds not all is as simple as he once thought. Will he be able to cut himself off from his feelings to complete his quest? Or will he be swallowed by them, as every new memory unlocks another secret buried in his heart? A novelization of BOTW's story. The Legend of Zelda: Real Courage [1ST DRAFT]
Ganondorf has a new plan, one that has been decades in the making. If he were to kidnap the Hero of Courage while young, can the hero be used to capture the Princess of Wisdom and complete the Triforce? When he kidnaps the baby, something is wrong. Now looking for art! This is based on the general LoZ plot but doesn't follow any particular game. While I use concepts, bosses, and other elements from the games, what I write will be "non-canon." As for geography, the map in my head is roughly based off of the one found in Twilight Princess. I see this as one of the games, with clean CGI scenes. I strive to describe every detail necessary, but sometimes my descriptions are lacking, or I don't know what to say when. If you ever feel that you are taken out of the story, for poor descriptions or not, please let me know. Din and Farore have turned against Hyrule, and when Zelda makes a shaky decision, it could spell the end for Hyrule.
