While they were talking, a small beeping sound notified Alethra that someone she knew had messaged her. She slowly looked at the message, her eyes widening once again.

Alethra. You will return to the Red Shadow at once. If you don't return to us in three days time, let's just say that you will never see your sister again.
---Zala

Tears escaped Alethra's eyes as she stared at the message. They meant it. If she doesn't do what they say in-game... they'll never return her sister to her outside of the game. Alethra took a deep breath, and wiped her tears. She stood up, and quietly walked out of the room, handing the Inn keeper money as she left.

"Alethra? Alethra where are you going?" Erin shouted after her.

"Don't follow me Erin. I am going alone. I'm sorry." She quietly told him, her voice slightly shaking.

"Alethra, are you insane?! You can't go back there! Alethra!" Erin shouted.

Alethra ignored him, and continued walking out of the inn. 'I'm sorry, Erin. I know I promised you, and myself that I'd never go back there... but, I have to do this... for Amy.' She thought to herself. Alethra walked outside, the sun shining down onto her. "I'll find you, Amy. I promise you." She whispered before running into the dark woods that lay in front of her.

There are worse things than death. ___ "What is wrong with you?" I seethed. She had my back against the wall, pinning me down so I couldn't move. She was much stronger than me, even when I used my strength to get out of her embrace. I held her gaze and I knew that she was gone. There wasn't an ounce of goodness left in her body. She laughed at my question. Of course, I knew what was wrong with her. But I have to find a way to get her back. "What is wrong with me? Ha, nothing sweetheart." she told me with a smile on her face. "I'm just having a little fun." "Yeah, and fun for you is killing innocents," I growled. "Oh, I hate to say this to you but they aren't all innocent." I finally broke free of her and I dropped her to the floor. I held her down with both arms while I was on top of her. All she did was give me a smile. An eerie smile that made a shiver run down my spine. "I should kill you for what you've done," I whispered. "I should make you pay." "Oh, but Sebastian, you won't," she said. "You know why? Because at the end of the day I'm still me, and you will never hurt me, will you?" I hated that she was right. I couldn't kill her. My mind told me that it would be the best to do it but my heart told me otherwise. I mentally cursed at myself for letting this happen to her. "Elora, I know you're still in there." I said. She was still on the ground, but she was not resisting which seemed odd. "She died a long time ago," she said finally. "Alongside her love for you." ___ Book Two in the "From Death to Life" Trilogy #13 in Bloodlust

"Who's out there?" One of the men yelled. Of course only silence met them. I remained quiet and waited for the group to start moving again. "Maybe it was just an animal." Someone whispered. The person, who I assumed was the captain of the small squad, signaled for them to walk again. They clearly showed fear as they kept going; brandishing their weapons to guard themselves with. "Two are holding lanterns. I'll tell you when you're too close to them." I heard my friend whisper in my ear. I followed the men as I picked up another branch and waited for the right time to break it. They continued to walk through the forest, turning their heads in every direction as if an animal might lunge at them and rip their throats out. I guess in a way I was going to do that. "Go back a few feet." My friend whispered. I carefully distanced myself from the group and waited. "Where is she?" I quickly snapped the stick as soon as he finished asking the question. They stopped and two soldiers raised their lanterns to shine its light in the darkness. I quickly hid behind a tree before both of them turned where I was. A low frustrated growl came from one of the men, "The girl's playing with us. She's out here following our every move." How paranoia can cloud the mind. At nine years old, Silver decided to leave her village for the forest. Since then, she's been hunted; everyday is a fight for her life, every breath she takes could be her last, but she's determined to stay alive. Her life isn't the kind anyone would want to live but she's managed to survive this long so, what's a few more years?

"The fuck you are leaving me." He snapped and growled at his mate. She was calm as she was ever be regardless of his snapping. She sighed and turned around to leave without saying something to him because it was worthless. There was no point in talking and especially to him. He grabbed her arm before she put one step. "Where do you think you are going Ara?" He growled so loudly as everyone shuddered watching their interaction. She quickly remove his hand as anger rolling off of her in waves. "Don't. Touch. Me. So you think I will live here and watch you mate and breed that female." She snapped at him. "She meant nothing Ara." He said after a minute. She laughed, literally laughed but without any humor. "That's why you were fucking her in your office just a minutes before, don't you?" "It was a mistake." He tried to reason with her. "But in your case mistakes happened in more than one time. And they said mistakes happened only one time." She said sarcastically. "I don't need her. I need you." He said again desperately. "Lies. All lies coming from your mouth. I feel disgusted just by looking at you, let alone talking to you. And you said you need me? Ha. Very funny. You don't need me and I sure as hell don't need you. This female behind your back is more enough than me. Breed her, mark her or fuck her. I DON'T FUCKING CARE." "I am sorry. I am really fucking sorry." He said brokenly as kneeling on the ground. A small laugh escaped from her lips. "Isn't it too late for that mate?" And she left just like that while single tear rolled down her cheeks. He had made mistakes. Mistakes that will cost him everything. He knew he had lost her and this time completely. She was broken. Again. He did break her, repair her just to break her again leaving a broken shattered woman but strong willed. ---------------------------------------------------- The cruel, sadistic Rogue Alpha and his caring, lovable Witch mate. "Anya?" I say stepping into her dimly lit bedroom. Anya was in the corner hidden by the shadows. "Go Away" she said sadness laced in her voice. "Anya what's wrong?" "Go Away!" She shouted angrily. She stormed up to me and shoved me out of the room into the wall before she went back into her room slamming the door behind her. Anger and worry build inside me and I knocked on the door. "AMBER!" She shouted "Tell me what's wrong. I'm here for you" The door slammed open Anya stood in the doorway she wiped a tear from her face with her hand before I heard a click. She stepped out of her room holding a shiny, black handgun. Anyas face was tear stained and puffy. I stepped back but ran into the wall. "Get. the. hell. Away. from. me. Amber. green" she threatened. I look at her one more time then I glance at the shiny object in her hand. I grabbed her armed hand and lead it toward my forehead so the weapon was pointing at me.
