A boy named Carlos has never had a family. He doesn't know how or when his parents died. He has been to many foster homes and each one rejected him and when he isn't in a foster home, he is at the daycare center for orphans. Then one day the daycare center gets a new kid, but they are already at full capacity. They want the new kid, so they get rid of someone. They choose Carlos. He is now in the wilderness alone, trying to survive. He manages to live through fall. He watches a T.V through a nearby house's window that was one of 
his past foster homes. He sees that there is a hurricane approaching. With the harsh cold winter coming and the hurricane very close, will he be able to find a home before it's too late?
