Autumn. That's how long Taylor Wright has to survive without his girlfriend, Hannah. With a hug and a kiss at the airport, he watches as she boards her flight for Nevada. But, as he is driving home that night, he sees a scraggly looking boy getting beat up on the side of the road. After getting out of his car and saving the tiny boy from his attackers, Taylor offers the boy a ride home. Little does he know that with that small act of kindness, he would be making a lot more than a friend. In this story of hero and victim, two young teenage boys discover how much one person can impact a life and how relationships can grow without meaning to. As these two boys slowly develop their trust with each other, they soon realize that these feelings may be more than friendship. During all their time together, Taylor constantly struggles with the question: What will I do when Hannah comes home?
