Then a call came. Brian was a Christian and Ami's first boyfriend. But now, Ami is Brian's suicide hotline. Serenity prayer from him to her. And from her to him, "Dear God, please give us the courage to accept things for what they are and to never lose hope that things will always get better."
So she was the suicide hotline, the emergency number, the 9-1-1.
