Blair Wilson has left an abusive past behind her. Her mother, her, and her baby brother escaped her father who was a drunk who physically and verbally abused them all. They headed toward the East Coast and settled in New Jersey. There Blair has to start a new life, try to find new friends, and on the way, with some help, she discovers that her past doesn't define her.
