Fabelle Tarrore, an interesting name for an interesting girl. She boasts to her friends that she can catch monsters, and even has heart pounding stories to back her up. She even begins to believe in her own lie, and mistakenly accepts a challenge from her friends to catch the biggest nightmare out there, The Oogie Boogeyman. Stuck in a corner with no escape Fabelle makes it her mission to catch the notorious Boogeyman.

To her shock and everyone else, she somehow pulls it off. She catches the Oogie Boogeyman.

Somebody takes advantage of this, stealing Oogies powers, taking away his ability to control and create Nightmares. Very quickly people around Fabelle start dying, the cause Fear. 

Now Fabelle must work alongside a very angry Boogeyman to catch the nightmare thief and stop him from killing people. But Fabelle is not prepared for the journey into the world of dreams known only as the Dark. It is there that Fabelle and Oogie must search to locate the thief, But they unleash something much darker than just some punk who thought they could be the Boogeyman. Can Fabelle Tarrore save not only the Boogeyman but herself from the nightmares she once knew?
