Dan Howell is 17- years-old. He has never had many friends. On a hot summer day his parents decide to move to Manchester, England. There he meets Phil Lester. Phil wasn't popular and he was desperate for a best friend. The two become inseparable but Dan is too scared to let Phil close in fear of losing him. Phil just wants Dan to let him behind his walls.
