This story is about a girl named Renae West that is obsessed with the white community and wants to make her skin lighter her mother tells her that's it's not healthy to hate yourself but she doesn't listen she constantly looks on the web to find ways to make her skin lighter which consists of staying inside the house,listening to her white friends,and even bleaching her beautiful skin but all of devotions to her white skin obsession fades away when she meets Malcolm Counts.
