Kura Yamamoto was a closet nerd with a positive attitude, sarcastic personality and a tendency to voice her thoughts even when it could very well backfire on her.  

Bakugou Katsuki on the other hand was an arrogant, hot headed brute with a superiority complex and capability to easily destroy a building or two on a bad day. 

Some how the two end up in the same class together in UA but putting the two personalities together would be the same as mixing ice with fire but as the saying goes, opposites do attract.
