Malinda is a kind, trusting and slightly misguided girl. She is also a Fairy Godmother in training. One day she meets Sara, a girl with a turbulent past and ambitions for the future. Moved by her need to help others, Malinda appoints herself as Sara's unofficial fairy godmother. Together they forge a friendship and begin to plan a future where Malinda is the Head fairy godmother and Sara is a grand lady. But what happens when Malinda finds out that her best friend in the world lied?

This is a prequel to Cinderella that focuses on the fairy godmother and her once best friend: Cinderella's stepmother. As a child, I always questioned why Cinderella's FG waited until possibly the last minute to swoop in and help her out. Naturally my mind wandered and explored the possibilities of a world where the FG and her stepmother were not only friends but were both partly responsible for the circumstances leading to the death of Cinderella's mother and all that follows after.

Ariella's biggest desire in life has always been such a simple one. She wants to be 'normal.' Unfortunately, that one simple wish has never been within her grasp. Coming from a long line of witches is bad enough, but she's even more different than the rest of her family. The fact that no one will give her any answers to why she's so different doesn't help matters. Her entire existence is shrouded in secrets that everyone around her refuses to reveal. After a family tragedy, she moves to a new town, and she gets her first chance to at least pretend to be 'normal.' For the first time, she's allowed to leave the house and go to an actual school. She makes friends, and she develops her first crush, that's quickly followed by her second. She's finally living the normal teenage life she'd dreamed of, but it doesn't last. Everything she believed about herself and the world around her is changed in an instant. Family secrets come to light one after another, turning her entire world upside down in the process. She quickly realizes that sometimes ignorance really is bliss, and maybe she didn't really want to know the answers to the questions she'd always asked, especially when one of these truths causes people close to her to turn their backs on her without hesitation. Before she can even recover from the shock, she's thrust into a war that she hadn't even known existed. Loyalties will be tested. She'll have to choose sides between all of the people she's come to care about. Will she stand with her family, her new friends, or the two boys who both hold a piece of her heart? One thing is for sure. She'll have to let go of her dream of 'normal.'

Cid Rellah

13 parts Complete

A reverse type of Cinderella story. Book 1 in TLCsDestiny Fairytale series. Cid was eight when his father died, leaving him with words of wisdom, not only for a business but for life in general. At the age of eleven, Cid's mother died, leaving him with fond memories of what it was like to have a mother and good times. But... His mother had remarried before she had died, because she was worried for her only son, and Cid was left with a stepfather whom already had two sons to his late wife. Cid's stepfather and stepbrothers may play tricks and try to take what isn't theirs but there seems to be at least two people that have stayed by Cid's side, and that is a long-time friend, David, and a Princess. Working many hours because he is someone that brings business to his step father, Cid is trying to find a way to disconnect from his stepfather and live a life of a man...A man that would be in charge of his own life and not be ordered around and be treated like a slave. Events lead to Cid delaying this goal of his, like that of the Princess's troubles with marriage and the continuous pestering of not only his stepfather but stepbrother as well.
