My life's pretty basic. I wake up, go to work, deal with clients, hit on my co-workers, sleep with them, and go home. My life's perfect. I'm rich, handsome, and there's know one in the world that is better than me. Does that make me sound cocky? Good. I don't do serious relationships, but I'm engaged. I'm only marrying her for money and she's only marrying me for publicity, so it works out great. I don't look at girls anything more than just a piece of meat, and I'll like to keep it that way. But destiny has a funny way of working.

My life isn't that basic. I struggle to pay bills, can't afford my house, and don't have a job. My life's anything but perfect. I'm not the pretties girl out there, I live on the streets of New York, and I suck at every job in the world. Just last week I got fired from the mattress store because I only slept on them, well I'm sorry I don't have a house. But things can change for the best, or the worst. He also plays bass guitar and fills in from time to time in NYC for a band managed by his other best friend from college and law school, Chad, who's also an attorney and works for the same law firm as Spencer. He uses most of his money he to help pay for Chester's care for which insurance barely helps with. He's the polar opposite of Carolynn; pessimistic, jaded, bitter about pretty much everything and has a terrible habit of getting in his own way. He gets offers for better, well paying or going out with a new girl because, among other reasons, he thinks he doesn't deserve it.
