Destiny is a 17 year old girl who finds herself doing something she hasn't done in years.... When she does, she meets Nick, an arrogant smart mouth. They both find each other force to work with each other. Though, becoming friends with Destiny is the last thing on Nick's bucket list of life. Especially, helping her win a vocal competition. Does Destiny find herself fixing a broken heart, getting even closer, or do things become worse, the more time they spend together? Do they put aside their differences and become closer than mentor and mentoree?

The trees of a park broke our locked gaze as the bus kept on driving. I took a deep breath, suddenly realizing that I had stopped breathing the moment our eyes met. I had never seen such blue eyes before-and they glowed! A shiver ran through me. I had been too far away to make out the color of the man's eyes.
