Leo never realized that his past was so close behind him until there was nothing to do but run.

It's been 1 year since everything calmed down, the titans, giants, Gaea, and Apollo was back to being a god, every demigod was hoping and looking forward to a happy and monster-war free future. That is all but Leo Valdez.
Leo knows that the things that have been chasing him are far from dead or even stopped, what he didn't realize was that they were so desperately close to capturing him and using him for their purposes.
Leo escapes them just in time, leaving the camp he had spent 2 years in , the camp that was gradually forgetting he was there.
