It was then that she asked me; "What's the worst feeling on earth?" And after a short hesitation, I replied; "Rejection." A puzzled expression found its way onto her face before one word came out of her mouth; "Why?" I looked over at her as smoke billowed from my cigarette into the air, trying to think of a reply. "Why?" I repeated her question, earning a nod from her. "Why?" I paused for emphasis before actually answering her. "It's like a heart crushing feeling, Y'know? You love someone with all your worth and every little bit of your existence, and then when you see them with someone else, it just kills you, like they never even noticed you in the first place. You know what I mean?" Alice looked sadly at John, who was over in the courtyard making out with Cyn and nodded sadly, unknowingly proving my point. "Yeah." She sighed. "Yeah, I do." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ringo wants Alice. Like, really badly. But the only problem is- Alice doesn't want him. Instead, she wants John Lennon, rhythm guitarist for Ringo's band's so-called "rival band." However, when her attempts for John to notice her don't work out, Alice decides to take a new stance; changing her appearance to get John to be attracted to her. Ringo, however, is not phased by these changes- he likes Alice the way she is. Will his feelings come out while he's comforting her after yet another failed attempt at getting John to notice her? You'll have to read to find out.
