Preston likes Julie. Julie likes Mitch. Mitch sees Julie as nothing but a friend... At least, that's what Julie thinks until Mitch leads Julie on and they kiss, and he tells her the next morning that he doesn't see her as anything; just as a friend.

So her thoughts were right... To make Mitch jealous and to make things more complicated, Julie plans with Preston what she should do to make Mitch want her; Preston suggests that she should pretend to date him to make Mitch jealous as a joke, but Julie thought it was the perfect plan.

But what Julie doesn't know, is that Preston likes her, which makes Preston want her even more. He's pretending to date a girl he loves and the worst part is, she doesn't even know. She doesn't see him as more than a friend. He's in the same situation as her and wants to help her, but he's doing the opposite to himself.
