Lighting scattered across the dark, night skies of the dessert. James looked at the sky wondering where he was. He could see off in the distance, seven figures walking towards him. Leading them was a man with long blonde hair. His fingers had claws dripping with blood. His green eyes lit up as lightning struck. The thunder was loud but James was focused on the figures moving towards him. They all stopped only footsteps away from James. The leading man walked closer to James while the rest stayed back glaring with all different colored eyes. "Hello brother, the time has come."

I looked at him, his blue eyes were eyeing me in deep concentration as he cradled me in his arms. I smiled weakly, trying to reassure him with my actions that I was going to be alright. "Don't worry." I muttered before closing my eyes as pain washed over me for the sixth time. "Ghosts don't get hurt, after all." I barely registered him replying, his words coming in mismatched timing. "You're not a ghost." I felt my cheeks becoming wet. His tears. Voice cracking, he relayed his next words. "You're an angel."
