First Annual Hunger Games: A New Tradition

So technically it's not the first Hunger Games, it's the 13th, but it is the first one with a set of rules, the first one with Sponsors and Game makers, the first one that not only tortures the hearts of the people from all 12 districts but is used to entertain the people of the capital as well. See how a new form of punishment is formed in Panem or what the new president of the Capital calls, "a new tradition". Remember, not every coal sparks a rebellion.

Katniss and Peeta were publicly executed after the Capitol took over again, and District 13 was completely obliterated. Since then, the Hunger Games have been harsher than ever.
