So technically it's not the first Hunger Games, it's the 13th, but it is the first one with a set of rules, the first one with Sponsors and Game makers, the first one that not only tortures the hearts of the people from all 12 districts but is used to entertain the people of the capital as well. See how a new form of punishment is formed in Panem or what the new president of the Capital calls, "a new tradition". Remember, not every coal sparks a rebellion.

FAILURE TO COMPLY ┃ f. odair
The day snow fell upon Victor's Village, everything changed. There was no excitement, no joy, only the cold stare of scrutinising eyes into a child's wounded soul. She was not the girl on fire. She could not set a nation ablaze. Calypso Silva only wanted to survive. But she, with her Capitol blood tainted by the districts, was the legacy so many had fought for. She would be the legacy that so many would die for. She was the rebirth of love, the death of hate. The death of him. - finnick odair x oc following the events of the 72nd hunger games (origins), catching fire, mockingjay pt.1, mockingjay pt.2.Concluida![Gone Too Far [The Hunger Games] Book 1](https://img.wattpad.com/cover/249603835-256-k316338.jpg)

It's been a century and 25 years since the rebellion and the Capitol is still angry. On the 125th Hunger Games to remind the Districts that they decided to betray the Capitol with their allies, the tributes will be reaped by every two Districts. Meaning Districts 1 and 2 will be put in the games together with 6 boys and 6 girls from both Districts and only 2 victors can come from each District one boy and girl, and will compete in the last games of the quarter quell and only one will come out. Who will that be? The best Hunger Games have begun. May the odds be ever in your favor...Concluida

One Last Game -Haymitch Abernathy-
The life of a victor isn't always great. Amelia Sawyer knew that all too well. After winning the 60th Hunger Games, she found herself back in District 12 living in the Victors' Village. Only leaving to mentor other kids every year. As the 74th Hunger Games rolls around she is introduced to Katniss and Peeta. From there the life she knew began to change, and Amelia begins to see things for the better. And in that change she helps Haymitch find the light, and the two grow closer than ever. A Game of Blade and Dance
The 48th Hunger Games are upon us! As your benevolent leaders, we are tasked with rooting out the rebellion, cowardice, and chaos that plague our great districts. Rest assured, this year's Hunger Games will be an exciting one! As always, your capital loves you, and may the odds be ever in your favor. -Bella Finlon, Lead Game Maker This book contains descriptions of violence that may be unsuitable for some readers. If you are sensitive to violence, I would not recommend reading. I own all characters (excluding those from the original book) and plot. Please be nice in the comments, it's my first fanfic and I'm still learning ;)
The Mockingjay Died: The Fourth Quarter Quell
When the laws of the Hunger Games were laid out, they dictated that every twenty-five years the anniversary would be marked by a Quarter Quell. It would call for a glorified version of the Games to make the fresh the memory of those killed by the districts' rebellion. Now we honor our fourth Quarter Quell. On the one hundredth anniversary, as a reminder to the rebels that the Dark Days only served to tear their families apart, each district will be required to send two sets of siblings. The new government that came with the rebellion Katniss started has been overthrown. President Snow's granddaughter is ruling Panem now, and she has proven to be more ruthless than he ever was. Katniss and Peeta were publicly executed after the Capitol took over again, and District 13 was completely obliterated. Since then, the Hunger Games have been harsher than ever. This Quarter Quell promises to be the worst Games since the rebellion. This story is being entered in the 2015 Wattys! Comment and vote and read please!Concluida
Her Victory, Their Life| F. Odair
The Hunger Games has been a tradition for the past 74 years. Well... maybe it was time for traditions to change. The victors were angry. They were promised a free-better life if they won. It wasn't all it was promised. Nothing ever is. "Emporia Falkum? Is she even a threat?" "Absolutely, killed 11 people in her games, won at 13 youngest ever." "So kill her first. Any weaknesses?" "None known, and she's actually a lovely person, hard to believe I know." I own nothing except my own original characters and plot lines.Concluida
