2056, that is when the world first saw the Kurai Mono. Monsters with only one thing in mind, eat and inhabit. With these monsters came the near destruction of humanity. In order to combat the kuari mono, humanity has unlocked the skill of soul weapons in order to fight back. The only problem though is that only a small portion of humanity can wield these weapons. That is why the Exorcist Acadamy was created. Dereck joins the acadamy in hope to avenge his parents. He has only one goal, to kill all kurai mono, every last one.
