What are the dead supposed to do? Staying dead.
What are the living not supposed to do? See the dead.
What is Lulu supposed to be good at? Ignoring the fact the she can see the dead.

Lulu Thatcher can see people she's not supposed to see. Because they're dead. But she sees them everywhere! Crawling out of the cabinet in the kitchen, walking aimlessly out of her school locker, hovering near her favorite booth in a coffee shop, and even sitting next to her in class.

She does her best to ignore them since her ability could make her lose her sanity. Or worse, lose her popularity. She does not want to be labeled as a freak. But what's she going to do when a ghost finds out she could see and starts pestering her all day long?

Eric Sandling is invisible. It's one of the perks of being dead. But it can also get very lonely: ghosts can't see other ghosts, and humans most definitely can't see ghosts. So when he finds a girl who could actually see him, he does everything he can to get her attention. Only thing is, she does her best to ignore him.
