It's been ten years since they paved the world. Everywhere, it's all covered in grey cement. There are no trees or grass out where I live; the only places to see green are in the square mile garden that the TCA runs to keep the air clean, but still the sky is always grey. It only works for people who live close to that green place, which we call 'the Garden'. People who live in the Inner Sectors need to wear masks and oxygen tanks to stay alive. I wear mine all the time; it's very heavy, but if it keeps me alive, I'll wear it.
