The Cataclysmic Grin (A Creepypasta Story)

Cynthia Arena Mason was created on July 11, 1995, she was simply an idea on a piece of paper, an idea made by Arvin Mason, a geneticist, a scientist that studies DNA. Arvin was given a secret grant of seven million dollars funded by the government for experiments and research purposes, and every single penny was given into the process of creating a hybrid species.

Nothing being able to come to light to the general public.

The idea started small first a mix of a human and a fly, working its way up to project CAM, a mix of human and cat.

As Arvin focused on his research it was the only thing he ever thought of, fully consuming him, leading him to insanity.

Five years later, project CAM was in full motion and on July 14, 2000, it launched. Cynthia Arena Mason the first breakthrough in hybrid science, creating a human-cat hybrid. She was able to talk, learn and act just like a human.

There was a fault in the formula leading to her having very unusual facial features. Cynthia was 70% cat and 30% human.

She was always being poked and prodded and occasionally electrocuted. Cynthia at the age of sixteen decided to escape.

Leading to her being chased by men in suits, killing to survive, meeting people who are like her, dangerous adventures and a whole world she never knew existed.
