Walking back to the table, I give him his drink, taking a deep breath. "I'll get your meal."
He looked up and nodded. "Thanks cutie."
I blushed, never hearing him call me that, before turning around and stumbling to the kitchen. Pausing at the entrance, I let out a small squeal and giggle before pausing and looking up, the entire kitchen looking at me.
I blushed and cleared my throat and became professional again. "M-Make the u-usual for Mr. Zeke Smith."
The cook rose an eyebrow. "Steak and mashed potatoes?"
I nodded, blushing and smiling. He called me cute.

Sighing in defeat, I cleared up the mess he made before walking out of the room silently as he continued to watch the scenery outside emotionlessly. He looks so fragile and delicate like that, I can't help but want to protect him. I must be nuts. I want to protect the guy who pissed me off so badly.
