When someone takes ahold of your heart and tears it in two, it can take some time to move on. But when your emotional and mental abuser has been tearing you apart for so long and just suddenly let's go, it's nearly impossible to lift yourself up. That was the case with Mark Edward Fischbach, a young college dropout who suffers from severe alcoholism, a slight drug addiction, and a worrisome ache to claw his skin off every second it wasn't pressed against someone else's. He's broke, all his money going into alcohol and hotel rooms, and his friends are sick of it. The chance of a lifetime is being laid out before him, a new life across the country in California, his friends and family there to support him. All he needs to do is take it, finally allow himself to focus on something that wouldn't kill him. And in his search, he stumbles upon a college language class, the name of the man who would fix all his broken pieces right in the discription. Korean language and writting class.
