Olivia Carmen had the perfect life. Everything you would expect for an average American teen girl. She's an only child of wealthy parents. Living in a mansion and having everything she needs, she thought this was how it was always going to be. Until one Friday afternoon. Her parents were staying in London for a week and they were soon to be home. Everything was going great, they had called before they got on the plane to come home, and nothing was out of place. At least that's what they had thought... Late that night she heard her grandmother screaming. As she approached her she noticed a phone in her hand, and there was obviously something wrong. When she finds out her parents were killed in a plane accident, she goes into a deep depression. Shes forced to move in with her neighbors, and she's not happy about it. She was never close tho the Johnson's like her parents had, but living with them brings her pretty close. Caleb was the youngest at the age of four, the middle child, Mason, was twelve. And Parker, the one that was her age, was sixteen. As she grows closer to the boy she never cared about, she finds she not only cares about him but loves him. Though Olivia may be going through some of the toughest things in life, she manages to be happy and find love.

Even though Juliet and Hope have never spoken, Juliet can tell that Hope is acting weird and she doesn't think it's entirely because Eleanor is dead. When Juliet and Hope are brought together through a class project, Juliet starts to realize that Hope won't be able to start moving on unless she finds out what happened the night her sister died, and why she can't remember it. When the two start investigating, they realize that the truth is pointing to something dark. Almost everyone attending Redwood has secrets, and they'll do what it takes to keep them private. When the truth starts to come out, Hope is left to wonder if she remembers the dreadful night and finds out she had something to do with it, will she ever forgive herself?
