Eidia, a country with a corrupt and suspect past reigns supreme in a world of boundless adventure and mystery. The source of its people's power- rare minerals in the earth that grant those who discover them special abilities. These minerals, known as Gadgets, are Eidia's greatest weapon and weakness. Crime runs amuck, a result of Gadgets slowly reaching the mainstream. Those tasked with keeping the peace are Clans- groups of Eidians with Gadgets of their own who take on missions and explore the world in search of their dreams.
Field Squad follows the story of Don Everlast, born and raised in a shanty town on the outskirts of an Eidian desert. After his sister stumbles across an incredibly destructive Gadget and setting out into the world, Don makes it his goal to meet up with Sierra and help in her journey to change the world for the better. All in all, Field Squad is a shounen-seinen crossover, a lovechild of tropes and elements from widely popular anime and manga, all wrapped into one massive ongoing story.
