I wasn't ready for this. When it all went down, I wasn't prepared. No one really was. I mean how do you prepare for a event like this. We never thought that this could actually happen. I never thought it could ever be real. Disaster struck and ended the world that we all knew and relied on.A illness. A virus. A act of god. Whatever it is, it brought the dead back to life.
I don't remember the exact day news about this, thing first started to appear. No one paid attention to it at first, I defiantly didn't. Even with videos of it happening I couldn't believe it. There was no denying that their was a sickness infecting many people world wide, but that's a sickness nothing to scary. People cant get shot in the chest 5 times and still get up. A sickness cant cause that. Nothing should be able to cause that. So yeah I ignored the news and the videos of people getting shot multiple times and still getting up, of people eating people. It had to be just a hoax, after-all our society is obsessed with zombies. Whats next there's going to be people burning in the sunlight and vonting to suck our blood.

I don't get it. I really don't. I died, I get that much. But waking up in a dark and squishy place, with absolutely NO ROOM to move, I DON'T GET. Let's recap. It was a regular day. I got up, ate, showered and went to work. I was a police officer. I was checking out a house call about domestic abuse. I didn't even get to knock on the door before a man bursted out screaming at a women about calling the pigs on him. It didn't take much to figure out he was the abuser with the way he was holding her arm tight enough to bruise. I tried to diffuse the situation, told him to calm down and let her go. He didn't like that. In the end I got shot and died. Then I woke up in a small and dark space and freaked out. Then I get pushed out only to cry and realize I'm a baby. Oh, but not just anyone's baby. I'm Miranda and Grayson Gilbert's baby?! In 'The Vampire Diaries'?! What the fuck is happening?! "As of now people are dying evidently people become depressed and aggressive to one and other. They all used to live in harmony and happiness, that was until the 'things started to raise. The 'things' are as you would call it zombies but of greater skill. They disguise themselves as humans yet they will not hesitate to kill you and eat you. If someone is a 'thing', automatically presume them dead, or at least soon to be dead. It will always take about 2 weeks to become fully changed, hopefully you can chop of that body part in time for the infection to stop. If you can't, put an end to your soon to be painful and horrible turn/death. These beings as I announced only a moment ago, look exactly like a human, two way to tell if they are one or not, their attitude and their eyes. They don't have emotions, only hunger and let me tell you, they will go out of their way to eat you, they will speak but it will sound different... Deformed almost. The eyes are usually the first to become infected, they become slightly red at first, as time progresses so does the intensity of the color red in the eye. The color in their eyes they once possessed, will seem dull, it will seem as if they are unfocused or unfamiliar with their surroundings. That is all I can tell you for the moment Lexi, but know their are people waiting for your arrival, and we are waiting for you to end this suffering race." Geovanni Have you ever gotten that feeling that somebody was watching you? And that person who was watching you wasn't normal. I have felt that way all of my life; but then again I felt as if I went missing nobody would even notice or care I was gone. I am 23 and just graduated from college. I was there an extra year because I had to take care of my family. I had to transfer back into the city and pick up the extra work because my mom died, and my dad became addicted to anything that would numb his pain. My little sister and brother would be lost without me here. But now I could care less. A cold breeze blew through my window waking me up from my thoughts. I looked over in the corner and saw that nothing was there. It was odd because I felt like someone well more like something was there. It had to be my imagination getting the best of me. I laid back in my bed and closed my eyes. Then all of a sudden I got the feeling I wasn't alone. But the really strange thing is that even if there was someone in here with me I felt safe. Jordan. I watched her as she slept. In fact I have been watching her since she was born. I have waited half a century to find that one person. I think I have finally settled on her. She was my choice. I know. After being in as many relationships as I have you know things. I felt my fangs tingle. Her blood smelled so sweet. Her heartbeat was steady and strong. I took my tongue and ran it across my fang. The temptation to indulge in her red liquid was far too strong. I let out a low growl and jumped out her window. I was ready for a hunt. "Did you see her Jordan?" "Yes, and tomorrow night you will turn her," "Why do I have to turn her?" Drew smiles and shrugs, "no, but you have forty seven minutes left, I really don't want to kill you," "Then don't and let me bring you in," Drew let's out a laugh, "so they can torture me and lock me up in a metal cell where I'll live like an animal till I die?" "This is my case," "I know Joel, but they'll 'take it from here' the moment you bring me in and you'll never see me again," Joel frowns and realises Drew is right, they will take her away, "don't you deserve it?" Joel asks lifting her eyebrows. Drew smiles and nods slightly, "let's say I do; do you even know what I did?" Joel shakes her head. "What I did Joel; was find out I was the bad guy the whole time," Drew whispers harshly. Joel shakes her head, "you were helping people, bringing them in and..." "And what Joel? Killing them? Imprison them? What do you think they do with all those weapons?" Drew shakes her head, "I won't allow you to take this one; I can't, and I'll kill you if I have to," Joel sighs, "I really can't just abort the mission without a reason," Drew points at the bracelet on her wrist, "break that, they'll be here in ten minutes and you'll have an excuse to aborting the mission," Joel frowns, "a false alarm?"
