Living with an almost perfect family and everything she ever wanted all seemed to change when President Adams came into office. Alex had two happily married parents and a supportive brother. She loved her family, but it all was torn apart in 2058, the year President Adams was elected. It was now 2060, and he had caused most countries to hate him and America, and this caused Americans to always have their guard up. Alex's brother was drafted to go to war, she had never been in contact with him since he left, until now. Alex is a kind, strong girl who wished the best for her and her loved ones. She was soon trying to save everyone, even though she didn't need to. What will happen when she pushes the limits? 
	This is a suspenseful short story about a girl who is struggling to keep her family relationships, love interests, and keep them safe. She loses so much in this story, but will she be able to gain anything?
