14 year old Lynn Stephfani was left on the streets to fend for herself when she was 6. Her mom abused her by throwing plates and anything breakable at her. It sometimes reached to the point of her throwing knives, which once hit her in the lower stomach and gave her a hideous scar. Her dad would sexually abuse her at night. At school....yes, sCHOOL. It was almost worse. Since Lynn has a small figure, she would be shoved into lockers and trash cans. At the end of the day she would walk out if those doors, looking bruised and battered. But she had easily quit.
She just wants to have a life that any person would dream of. And then she got it.

DISCLAIMER #1: I wrote this story when I was a teen and while some mental disorders are the focal point, they may not be accurate representations as I was far from being a psychologist. There are several things Lynn doesn't quite get about the world she lives in, which makes it harder for her to figure herself out. She is not your average teenager. She's young, intelligent, though something about her is off by now. Everyone is quick to misjudge and point fingers, everything and everyone is so corrupted that she's afraid she'll lose herself among a bunch of wandering, empty souls. Therapy can only help so much, depression is hard to die, and in Lynn's case it's caused solely by the fact she doesn't 'fit in'. She can't really find her place in the world. But there's something really special about her; Her dreams are haunted by a wonderful, mystical place. No one understands her, they think she's off her rocker, that she needs to cut her childish daydreams. But Lynn knows deep in her heart that place really exists, and she'll do anything to find it, with the help of some new found friends.
