Meet Tatiana Procter.
Mature.  Sweet.  Strong in education.  Everything a parent would want in their 16-year-old daughter

Meet Tamara Procter.
Outgoing.  Risk-taker.  Social.  The opposite of Tatiana.

Tatiana and Tamara are twins who share no similarities, except for one night that changed everything.  After their adventure through Mako Island the girls can't make contact with water, without growing tails.  Mermaid tails.  

Meet Jonathan Minnes.
The biological father of Tatiana and Tamara.  Arrogant.  One track minded.  Persistent (some would say stubborn).

When Tatiana and Tamara had only been five, their father left.  He was determined to catch a sea creature or a "mermaid"  that he claims lifted him up to shore after a major fishing accident.  Have mermaids been more than just a myth?  If so, who saved Minnes?

"Okay now I think we should go to Mako Island." Alex said. Then another bump happened and it sent us flying into the water. We all screamed. I opened my eyes and looked around in the water. I immediately saw a huge shark. I screamed. I surfaced and looked around at the girls. "Guys there's a shark!!" I cried. "I knew it!!" Eliza said. "Look there it is!!" Alex cried. I turned around to see the shark's fin. It turned and swam towards us. We all let out a blood curdling scream.

Set in the same universe as H20: Just Add Water (events of Mako Mermaids did not happen), 4 highschoolers are doing a Biology Project on Mako Island. Not to keen of each other but still wanting to get the work done, they discover a cave with an oh so familiar Moonpool. As magic strikes, suddenly their lives take a 180° Turn.
