Outgoing. Risk-taker. Social. The opposite of Tatiana.
Tatiana and Tamara are twins who share no similarities, except for one night that changed everything. After their adventure through Mako Island the girls can't make contact with water, without growing tails. Mermaid tails.
Meet Jonathan Minnes.
The biological father of Tatiana and Tamara. Arrogant. One track minded. Persistent (some would say stubborn).
When Tatiana and Tamara had only been five, their father left. He was determined to catch a sea creature or a "mermaid" that he claims lifted him up to shore after a major fishing accident. Have mermaids been more than just a myth? If so, who saved Minnes?

But she'll find out land is not all its cracked up to be. For one, every time she gets wet she loses her legs and sprouts her tail. Her legs don't come back until she dries off. You can bet that causes trouble. Follow Beyoncé on her journey on land while she tries to fit in. Along the way, she'll find friendship, love, and a couple of enemies.
