Haley has waited to do ballet again for 3 years now and she finally gets the chance. But when she gets in she finds they are doing the nutcracker this year around Christmas and she isn't on pointe and all the girls her age are. So she makes it a goal to get on pointe by the nutcracker auditions and to at least be able to do a pirouette on pointe. She wants it so much that she decides to just focus on ballet and school "no distractions!" She says. Until a certain browned haired boy steps into her life and becomes one of her biggest distractions.
