Kamico lives in a different world where people's eyes have evolved into special powers. Every eye color represents a type of power. Based on that power you are put into a specific sectors. Children are put in schools to figure out and learns about history and their powers and learn to control it. At the age of 17 the government (Light sector) decides which sector they belong in. If you don't belong in any sectors that exist then you go to the abandoned world. Your eyes are marked black so you can never sneak into a sector and fit in. There is a slight problem, Kamico hasn't discovered her power yet and the sector day is coming close. She holds her necklace tight because she is so nervous and sees that she has moved from her previous place. She realizes that her necklace has teleportation abilities.  Will her necklace be enough to convince everyone that she has powers or will the government see through her and throw her in the abandoned world?All Rights Reserved

They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. No one will believe it was me who disappeared into a fence and appeared on the other side of school. I stare at my brother. He made eye contact with me, confirming my suspicions. We both saw it. Whoever that was is like us. "Did you just see that?" I ask "You're that person my brother and I saw," He says. Oh no... Why then? "Wait! You're-" Completed just editing. (Don't be too harsh please)

She found no relief from it, maybe because she had no happy memories to find solace in, nor anyone to find comfort in. And yet, Amber could be the catalyst to setting a series of events that had been prophesied centuries before, into motion, bringing together three more people – the embodiments of the Emblems – to bring magic back to life. But in this underlying world of Adepts, Demons and secrets within secrets, unlocking their potential will be harder than you think. ~^~^~^~^~^ So, this is my 2014 Nanowrimo story, which is basically an attempt to rewrite Phoenix, where it shall go through major changes in plot, characters as well as effects of my new-and-improved writing style.
