*ON HOLD*
"Who are you?" I questioned her again. Dream after dream we would do this.
Sit int front of each other. Starring like two enemies in one body.

"The spirit of fire and destruction. But also of balance."
I heard her thoughts this time.

She looked surprised by the fact that I had heard that.
"Can I call you Destroyer since you destroyed my life?" I asked her.
"Bo-ho poor you, what do you think you did to me?!" She sounded angry with me, like I was the one who had done something wrong.

"What do you mean?" I asked her.
"NONE OF YOUR DAMN BUESSNES!" She yelled and firebended to the sides.
"I'll just call you Debra then." I answered casually.
I knew she couldn't hurt me, that meant she would hurt too.

"You don't get to play the smart one here!" She said.
I was about to answer her when I felt something.
I saw flashes and images of a spirit. An evil one. Coming for Korra.

"You did not see that!" She said
"Yes I did." I answered her.

"Is that going to happen?" I asked her, and I could see on the look of her face, it was true.
"So what? It's not like you can help her." She turned around.

"But you can." She didn't answer.
"Please, if you help me I'll give you anything?"

She turned around and looked me in the eyes.
For a second I thought I saw something... almost human in her eyes.

"As our ship sailed on past the horizon, where the ocean meets the sky, I drifted off to sleep, and for the first time, I didn't dream, because reality was better than I could have ever imagined." • • • The perfect storm brings Bao, an kind-hearted, talented, yet unconfident waterbender from Republic City and Iroh II, a powerful, compassionate General (not to mention Crown Prince of the Fire Nation) together- quite literally. She saved his ship, and he saved her. Yet, in spite of all they went through together, Bao runs away from him. Terrified of public attention and being made fun of in the media, she seeks shelter in her family's home. Not one to be easily deterred, Iroh writes to her, and with the help of friends and family she returns to him, and to her destiny. It's a grander, more liberating one than she could ever have hoped for. One she faces her fears, she realises how much she matters, that she really was worth loving all along, and is finally able to face the world with open arms and open eyes. ||General Iroh II x Original Character|| A few choice pieces of knowledge about this book: 1. It's very close to my heart. It was my first fanfiction EVER, and I used it as a platform to write about a great deal of insecurities in my "real" life. So, most of the stuff you read about Bao is actually about me (unsurprisingly). 2. I wrote part of it about five years ago and finished it more recently, so there is a (relatively) dramatic shift in style about halfway in. I think the first parts are ehhh but it gets really fine tuned by the end. I didn't go back and edit the earlier parts, but if you stick around the whole time, it only gets better as you go! ||Once more, thank you, to everyone who liked this, and told me so! It means the world to me!|| One last sappy thing: I love you guys! Having said that, I'm out. ♡||

When Hiei was fifteen he produced air like his father, but as his father died when he was ten. Hiei couldn't learn Airbending from him so his grandfather called on someone to help. Zuko called Aang's youngest son Tenzin to help teach Hiei how to be an Airbender. Hiei moved to Republic City to learn from Tenzin on Air Temple Island. A girl is born in the Fire Nation with the ability to bend three elements and a strong spiritual connection. It's me, Y/N. I was meant to be used as a weapon to destroy the Avatar but like Iroh says, destiny is a funny thing. I am now his friend, his spiritual guide, his Protector, and his non-biological sister. ******* "If honor is the most precious thing to me, then you are my honor." ******* "Your lips don't always tell the truth, but your eyes do." ******* "Because I love you....idiot" ******* "Don't let the past define you. This life is meant to forgive." ******* Cover art by Bryan Salvador Beware of my horrible writing, it needs A LOT of editing. Also, I don't own Avatar, or the characters, plot, or dialouge. This is simply fanfiction. There's a lot of chapters, but they're kinda short. There's also some art here and there, all credits to the artists, I do not own any of the pieces.
