Kendra wants to get over her bad break up with her ex, Evan. So far she has been depressed for 4 months, and her friends are worried about her. They decide to end this and take her to South Carolina for the summer after they graduate high school. Kendra doesn’t want to go, all she wants to do is mope around home all summer before college. But her friends make her, they tell her how they feel so she does it for the sake of them. There in South Carolina, Kendra meets lifeguard Bryson. She has never met a guy like him. He’s handsome, sweet, different, and unique. But things between them turn out uneasy. Of course it’s not like the movies. Will love ever get better for Kendra, or just plain worse?
