This takes place in a world where the game never happened, the kids all know each other from pesterchum, and the trolls are all humans.
Note; this is a brojohn/davejohn story, meaning that it very well could be a trashy love triangle story. Guess we'll find out.

Ellie found traveling with Joel to be both rewarding and simultaneously frustrating. It was like talking to a cold, emotionless brick wall sometimes. So imagine her excitement when they run into another group of travelers heading in the same direction, and they agree to travel with Ellie and Joel. The most exciting part?
