Ashley and Ally Thompson maybe twins by birth but however they are poles apart. Alison Thompson is your typical nerd of the school ,with her head always into a book and not to mention a tomboy, while Ashley Thompson is your typical popular girl at school being captain of cheerleading squad and what not.
The tables turn when Ashley is cheated on by her boyfriend with her girl best friend on the last day of school before the summer holidays.She gets tired of keeping up her reputation and being the centre of attention even if she does't want it. Meanwhile Ally is too fed up with being the invisible girl and craved for attention. With both of them not happy with their lives and desperately needed change ; thats when Andrew Thompson steps in, coming up with a great idea.
