Double Trouble

His blue eyes stared intently into mine.His jaw was set in a determined and angry manner but his eyes told a totally different story. They were almost mirroring my inner turmoil.
The keyword being almost.
I could separate out longing and hurt in them.
We were almost nose to nose with each other. Just one more inch and I could taste him.One of his hand was resting tenderly on my cheek,as if even the slightest pressure would break me.
But it didn't help when he said , "W-Why ?"in a broken ,hoarse voice.
That one word was enough to break down all the walls around me like pieces of shattered glass.

She has it all. But life hasnt always been so easy for Bev.It gave her a few scars and secrets to hide.Until now she has been successful to hide her scars but what about her oh-so hideous secrets ?
Some of which can totally destroy her.
But she is so not worried about that little secret. At least not until HE comes into picture.
What will she do if he threatens to spill her secrets ?
