The world is full of colors. Beautiful colors of every shade. Or at least this is what Delilah is told. You see, Delilah is blind, she has been since the young age of 4. Because of this, Delilah has always been able to "see" the beauty within someone rather than what's on the outside. She tends to keep to herself and can tell good people from bad people. Even with being visually impaired, she lives her lively as easily as everyone around her does. Most of the time people can't even tell she's blind until she tells them she is. With each passing day, Delilah feels more confident in her ability to life and survive in this world on her own. The world is full of beautiful people. Zachary being one of them. Or at least that's what he's been told. Zachary grew up believing beauty was everything and that's all he really had going for him. When people looked at him, all they saw was a pretty face. They didn't see a guy who volunteered at a pet shelter. They didn't seem guy who waited in line all night for the next book in his favorite series to come out. Little by little Zach became an arrogant, cocky, superficial playboy who only cared about people's looks rather than who they are on the inside. Their worlds collide when a certain festival rolls into their town and draws them both there. Delilah catches Zach's eye, but he has a hard time getting her to give him a second glance. Zachary begins to realize that his good looks finally can't get him whatever he wants. Read to laugh and cry along with the characters as they face difficult life events and go through wacky situations in this story of a blind girl teaching a superficial boy to see with his heart rather than his eyes. Find out if Delilah can succeed in showing Zach that beauty is not truly everything; that what's on the inside is what really matters. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Being updated/written by _Lyric_Lover_ and Stupid_Sk8ter This story will be up on both of our accounts.

| Delilah Jones spent her whole life in the background of everyone. The background of her best friend, her brother, and even her mother. One summer, Della and her father were in a massive car accident that claimed his life. Coming back to school, Della has physical and mental wounds from her summer. Going into her senior year, she planned on keeping her head down and avoid all problems. But, her enemy of 2 years, Jackson Costra, had other plans. Being her brother Brooks' best friend, Delilah never got a break from the torture Jackson put on her. Ever since she can remember, they have been playing this hating game. Della had no idea why he started hating her, but she played along, until she realized the boy had a deeper meaning for his anger that was bigger than her completely. | Jackson Costra grew up in the most powerful and influential mafia in the world. Ever since he was 11, he was taught who his allies and enemies were. For example, their biggest enemy, La Famille, or the French Mafia was trying to get a hold of their operation. Just as he was getting ready to become capo dei capi, his parents gave him an ultimatum to secure that The Sicilian Mafia will always be on top. To make sure that happens, Jackson has to get important intel on La Famille, which just so happens to be Della's step Father's mafia. The only way he can get close to Ron is to go through his new family. Jackson developed a deep resentment for Delilah over the years and had to put up a façade of being friends with Brooks. He was taught to think of Della as collateral damage, but when he gets closer to the broken and battered girl, the mafia prince won't let anyone lay their hands on her. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ psa: this story contains mature content.
