Lockie's Diner

Peyton Brikle is a 24 year old unemployed street performer who has never had the privilege of being in college. On top of that she lives in a dirty apartment with her alcoholic and drug reliant friend who has a daughter that she takes care of more often than the mother herself. What's worse? She's been stuck in a relationship with an abusive drug dealer for months. Peyton has several run-ins with the arrogant Aidan Banks whilst taking the daughter, Maddy, to school. Imagine her surprise when she gets hired at a diner that he not only works at but belongs to his grandmother.
