The Perks of being Friends with a Werewolf

Sometimes, you just don't see things coming. For example, sometimes, someone will stay up studying all night for a test and find out the next day that they studied for the wrong one. Sometimes, a person will wake up bright and early in the morning, full of life, decide to eat some cereal, pour some into the bowl, open the fridge to get the milk, and guess what? There is none left.

Katelyn Adair had no idea the new kid was a werewolf. Not even a little hunch to indicate her that something surprising would happen soon in her life. Zilch. Nada.

Meet Kate, the closest people to her in school are these magical beings called "acquaintances", She likes to write parodies of the hunger games, has a weird obsession with cows, and when she was four, she thought she was a lizard.

That all changes when a new kid is enrolled in Riverside High, Jaxon Fortes. Hah. Just kidding. Kate stays the exact same unique person she always has been. Except Jaxon now enters her life, and of course, both of them become friends. In fact he becomes her first friend at that school.

And now comes the surprising part (For Kate, not you, unless you haven't read the title.).
Jaxon is a werewolf. With a bunch of powers an' stuff.

You heard me. Kate finds out that Jaxon can do things that normal people can't do, and of course, he could help her.
Help her become the writer of the school's first play since "The stolen Cheeto", help her get the guy she had a crush for some time, help her finally have some fun in all her year at Riverside High.

Of course, there are pros and cons of having a werewolf friend. Cons. Whenever you invite them to your house, be sure to have spent at least thirty bucks on bacon and be ready to watch it disappear in, like, five minutes. Don't mention the use of leashes or cages used on any species of canine at any time. And especially, get ready to endure a pretty irritating existence of a boy, because he will be by your side for the rest of your life.
