Do you always listen to the little voice in your head? Does it always tell you the right thing to say or do? I know mine doesn't. I'm not taking about you conscience. That's a whole other discussion. I'm talking about your curiosity. It is a little known fact that being inquisitive about other people's affairs may get you into trouble. To simplify that lovely proverb I'm just saying that curiosity can kill the cat. Sadly enough humans are curious by nature. This is a story about an executive, his personal assistant, and his current bed partner who is his personal assistant's ex-boyfriend. Curious yet? I cleared my throat before answering. "Well, it depends.." I answered carefully. "On what?" She leaned forward slightly with what looked like an almost mischievous glint in her eyes. "On what I'm eating," I fired back sounding a lot more confident than I felt. Her eyebrows went up slightly. *** When Ren stumbles upon a job opportunity, she never thinks that it'll completely change her life.
