Amber Black use to be fun and kind and quirky. But that was when her mother was still alive and her family was whole. Now she is 17 and not like who she was. She's shy, doesn't like attention, and is your typical good girl nerd. No drugs, no boys, and no more getting in trouble. She does love adventures though but can't find the courage to take a jump and go on one. She works behind her dad at his veterinarian clinic which is something she loves to do.

Carter Collins is risky, dangerous, and ruggedly handsome. He lives to cause trouble especially for his school and dad. But when he goes too far the consequence brings him and Amber together.
