Veronica is a scrawny, fresh out of middle school girl who is quite nervous about this new stage in her life. Her mother is a single parent raising three, including Veronica's two brothers, Rowan and Finn. As Rowan is struggling to raise money for college and Finn cruises the easy life of being the youngest, Veronica has troubles of her own.
She's leaving her comfortable life in middle school to a whole new life in high school, alone and frightened with nobody to turn to. But she meets a charming gentleman named Kieran, and Veronica realizes that she's in for the ride of a lifetime.
