Some would say they don't belong together; others believe that opposites attract. In a world of only shifters, this rule is number one. Prey are accustomed to staying in hiding, wanting nothing to do with the other. In the world of the predators, if a prey is seen they are sold as slaves, imprisoned and tortured, eaten, or are found out to be mated to a predator. It only happened once, but never again. A child made from both prey and predator will be killed.  Prey mate with prey; predator with predator. The Moon Goddess wouldn't put them together, right?
